Your privacy, in plain language

This notice covers this website (www.conduitdocs.app), its contact forms and the free bill check. E-wee runs Conduit and Conduit TEM and is responsible for the personal information described here. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Short version: we collect only what you type into our forms, we use it to reply to you, we don't sell it, and there are no tracking or advertising scripts on this site.

When you browse this site

• No analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and no cookies that follow you around the web.
• If you pick light or dark mode, your browser remembers that choice on your own device. It never reaches us.
• Like any website, our hosting provider keeps standard request logs (IP address, browser and the page asked for) to keep the site secure and working.

When you use a contact form

The “Book a demo” forms on the Conduit and Conduit TEM pages collect:

• your name, work email and company;
• your phone number, if you give it;
• which product you asked about and roughly how many lines you have;
• your message;
• your consent to be contacted, which the forms require.

We use it to reply, arrange a demo and follow up on your request. It is stored as a sales enquiry in Conduit TEM's systems and emailed to our team. We keep it while we're talking with you, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

When you use the free bill check

The bill check asks for your name, work email, company, an optional phone number, roughly how many lines you have, your province or state, and one bill.

• Conduit AI reads the bill to show you the results. To do that, it sends the bill's contents to an AI service provider that processes them on our behalf.
• We keep your bill and its results for 30 days, then delete them. A bill whose email address isn't confirmed is deleted after 7 days.
• We keep your contact details and the headline figures (carrier, total and what we found) so our team can follow up.
• We never share your bill or your details with anyone, your carrier included.

Who processes it for us

We use a few service providers to run the site and the apps. They handle information only on our instructions:

• DigitalOcean hosts this website and Conduit TEM, including its database and file storage. Conduit TEM runs in DigitalOcean's Toronto region.
• Postmark delivers our email, such as the link to your bill check results and the notice of your enquiry to our team.

Some providers may process information outside Canada, for example in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country. We don't sell or rent personal information to anyone.

How we protect it

Information travels over encrypted connections, access is limited to the people who need it, and our apps use invitation-only accounts, two-step verification and encrypted offsite backups.

Your rights

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent and have it deleted. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Changes

If we change how we handle personal information, we'll update this page and its date.
